Based in London, we provide Ayurvedic products and Ayurvedic training worldwide to the highest Western standards of purity and quality, whilst staying true to the principles of Ayurveda.
Ayurveda Pura is founded on Ayurveda the ancient holistic health system of India, which provides for excellent health, both physical and mental, by creating harmony between a person's body and nature.
All Ayurveda Pura products have been developed in close consultation with our team of Ayurvedic practitioners, led by Dr. Deepa Apté. Our aim is to help you to achieve some of the greatest gifts of nature: a healthy body, radiant beauty and a long life.
TREATMENTS:
Ayurvedic treatments involve establishing an individual's constitution and the nature of any imbalance and then seeking to return the individuals body to a state of healthy balance. The treatments consist of the use of Specialist Ayurvedic massages using herb-infused massage oils, Herbs and herbal remedies, Nutritional advice tailored to bring balance to a person's Doshas, Advice on lifestyle habits, Specially selected yoga exercises and Panchakarma.
Ayurveda Pura also offers personal Ayurvedic consultations by our head Ayurvedic practitioner and medical doctor.
DOCTORS:
Dr Deepa Apté MBBS (India) is a fully qualified Indian medical doctor (Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery, India), a qualified Yoga teacher and a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner. She is a former Executive Director of the APA's (Ayurvedic Practitioners Association) and is the Head of the Editorial Board for the APA's quarterly journal JAPA (Journal of the Ayurvedic Practitioners Association).
She lectures widely on Ayurveda and Yoga (both in the UK and Germany) and regularly writes articles for, and features in, magazines and the press. Having previously run many workshops and courses, she lectures as a guest speaker at numerous international health and wellbeing exhibitions and is the lead lecturer of the Ayurveda Pura Academy. As a post graduate lecturer at University of Wales, Dr Apte is an experienced teacher with a knowledge which is second to none on both theoretical and practical aspects of Ayurvedic medicine and treatments.
As well as running her practice Dr Deepa Apté helped to set up Ayurveda Pura in the UK and is the lead Ayurvedic practitioner in charge of products, their production and ingredients.

EDUCATION:
The Ayurveda Pura Academy is a London based international Academy which provides Ayurvedic training to people of all levels of qualification. The Ayurvedic training provided by Ayurveda Pura Academy is amongst the finest training in the world to be found for holistic therapists and Ayurvedic therapists. Through its excellence, authentic Ayurveda is made easy to understand and relevant to a Western lifestyle or business context.
The Ayurveda Pura Academy also provides tailor-made training and treatment packages to spas and health clinics worldwide. Ayurveda Pura Academy Courses are accredited by CMA (Complementary Medical Association) and the FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapists) for selected courses, lead to the award of a Certificate or Diploma.
