ABOUT THE CENTRE:
Ayurveda, the science of life, prevention and longevity is the oldest and most holistic medical system available on the planet today. It was placed in written form over 5,000 years ago in India, it was said to be a world medicine dealing with both body and the spirit. Ayurveda is a holistic Indian system of medicine that uses a constitutional model. It works to provide a flexible guidance to attain a state of positive health. Its treatment and techniques is also flexible for people with health challenges. Ayurveda is derived from two Sanskrit root words: Ayu, which means Life, and Veda, which means the Knowledge. Thus Ayurveda refers to the Science of life.
Dr. Meghnaa Dixit has studied Ayurvedacharya from Mumbai University (1997 batch). She has specialized in Panchakarma, the elimination of toxins. Her experience includes a successful association with various Panchakarma centers for last 11 years along with individual clientele. She started her own Panchakarma Centre at Andheri - Versova, in the year 2007. In a short span of a year she has treated more than 650 patients and her centre has under taken various packages for arthritis, gout, paralysis, diabetes, varicose ulcer, bronchitis, asthma, sinusitis, migraine, allergies, IBS, slip-disc, cervical spondilitis and sciatica. Problems like obesity, weight and height gain, infertility, thyroidism, insomnia, psoriasis, stress and depression have also been cured. Her expertise has been effective in reversing cosmetic problems such as acne, pigmentation, dark circles, dandruff, hair fall and premature graying of hair.
