ABOUT THIS INSTITUTE:
The European Institute for Scientific Research on Ayurveda (EISRA) is a leading research institute by the central government of India has selected as its representative in the Netherlands. This was confirmed in 2001 through a Memorandum of Understanding with the Gujarat Ayurved University in Jamnagar, India. One of the objectives of this institute is to increase the quality of Ayurveda education.
EISRA works with several Ayurvedic healths in Europe. Students who have graduated have their own practice. So far, about 1000-1200 students graduated. It is co-operation with Health resorts in India, Gujarat Ayurveda University at Jamnagar, India,
an extensive Ayurvedic hospital where our students after the expiry of their four-year study in the Netherlands to do their practical experience.
And also with Dayanand Ayurvedic College in Punjab, India, First Ayurvedic college of India, where our students gain their practical experiences, Deep Prakash Institute of Ayurvedic Sciences to Raiwala - Fourth year students of EISRA visit this resort for practical training. There are facilities available in the resort to stay with special background for the various constitutions of European standards

COURSE OFFERED:
The courses offered by our institutions; Two years course (Ayurvedic Technician diploma), Four Year Course (Diploma Ayurvedic Practitioner), Two Year Course Ayurvedic Panchakarma and physiotherapy technician, Ayurvedic massage courses, Ayurvedic cooking classes, Courses in Vedic Astrology, Courses in Vedic Psychology, Correspondence course for Ayurveda doctors and therapists and Correspondence courses in Ayurveda.
And also offer 2 / 4 year MBO-HBO training - Ayurvedic Ayurvedic Practitioner and Technician and 1 year training - Panchakarma and Ayurvedic Massage Therapist.
DURATION:
The duration for courses are; Ayurvedic Technician diploma – 2 years, Diploma Ayurvedic Practitioner – 4 years, Ayurvedic Panchakarma and Physiotherapy Technician – 2 years, MBO-HBO training - Ayurvedic Ayurvedic Practitioner and Technician - 2 / 4 year and Panchakarma and Ayurvedic Massage Therapist - 1 year training.
FACULTY:
Professor Dhr.Anil K. Mehta, he graduated in Ayurvedic medicine and surgery in 1977 at the renowned Maharshi Dayanand University. He has practiced Ayurveda in Delhi, India until 1980. In that year he came to the Netherlands and began practice as a consulting Ayurvedic physician, specializing in Panchakarma. He is author of several bestsellers with different topics on Ayurveda and Panchakarma, published in both Dutch and English.
Dr. Raghunandan Sharma, he graduated in Ayurvedic medicine and surgery in 1990 and received his postgraduate degree in Ayurveda from the renowned Ayurved University, He is a visiting professor and a member of the College to EISRA in the Netherlands. He was a researcher at the Ministry of Health of India.
