LOCATION:
J.D. Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital is situated on the National Highway-91, 10th km. mile Stone towards Delhi on G.T. Road. The Transport facility is frequently available from Aligarh and the rest part of India.
ABOUT THIS COLLEGE:
The college is promoted by the All India J.D. Educational Society, registered under Societies registration act 1860. The vision and the main aim of the founders have been to Setup an institute of excellence for a standard quality of Medical education and impart education for degree course of B.A.M.S. since 2004.
The College is only of its kind to meet the latest revised norms of 2003 brought up by CCIM, New Delhi and the first recognized college by Ministry of Health and family welfare, Govt. of India and C.C.I.M., New Delhi. It is approved by Govt. of U.P. and permanent affiliated to C.S.J.M. University, Kanpur.
The Aim of the college is to Produce graduate pro-formed scholarship having a depth scientific knowledge of Ayurveda in accordance the Ayurveda fundamentals associated with extensive practical training who would be efficient teachers, Research Scholars with sole object of receiving and developing the Indian System of Medicine.
COURSE OFFERED:
B.A.M.S. - Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (Ayurvedacharya).
ELIGIBILITY:
Intermediate or Senior Secondary school certificate or equivalent with main subjects being Physics, Chemistry, Biology and pass percentage 50% in aggregate as well as individually in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. In case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and OBC categories, the minimum percentage is 45% in subject as well as aggregate.
DURATION:
The duration for the course is 4 1/2 years +1 year internship.
ACCOMMODATION:
We provide hostel facilities in the College Campus as study bedrooms in apartments of Double occupation with shared bathroom.
FEE PARTICULARS:
The charge for the course is - I - Procuration 18 months - Rs.2,25,000.00, II - Procuration 18 months - Rs.2,25,000.00 & III - Procuration 18 months - Rs.2,25,000.00 – Total - Rs.6,75,000.00.
The price for the bed rooms - Rs.40,000/- per student per annum, Security - Rs.5000.00 Refundable + Hostel Charges will have to be paid in advance annually (from July to June).
OTHER FACILITIES:
There are 250 types of verdant medicinal plants are presently available in Herbal Garden especially for the purpose of study. A large part of College land is covered by this Herbal Garden.
Laboratories and museums are centre to the practical study of any discipline. The College provides well-equipped labs will cater to the needs of growing number of students and meet the norms stipulated thereof. Demonstration and Seminar rooms are attached for deliberations and exhaustive discussions. The museum is well-provided with models, specimens and other facilities.
The library subscribes to a good number of medical books, journals, magazines and allied periodicals. It is well stocked with books on Ayurveda and modern medicine. The library can accommodate 100 students with extra space for reading room.
The Pharmacy consist three separate section e.g. Syp, Tablet & Churna contains latest Machinery & Tools in every section and functioning under the guidance of a qualified staff.
100 Beded Hospital is running under the guidance of qualified & experienced staff. Daily more than 300 patients are taking the advantage from the OPD and IPD 's with the latest equipments & Instruments like X-Ray Machine & Pathology Lab. Specially Ksharsutra & Panchkarma done by the qualified staff.
Our Punchkarma Unit is well equipped & established. There are total facilities of various stages like Shirodhara, Virechan, Nasya karma and Vasti karma etc. Unit is properly functioning under experienced & qualified staff.
