It is located in the green suburbs of Kozhikode, Kerala.
ABOUT THIS COLLEGE:
KMCT Ayurveda Medical College was established in 2006. With the setting up of a full-fledged Ayurvedic Hospital, the students are ensured of quality practical experience along with classroom teaching offered by learned Ayurvedic medical practitioners and scholars.
It is approved by the Central Council of Indian Medicine, Govt. of India and affiliated to the University of Calicut. With new facilities being added on a regular basis, the college is bound to become the best Ayurvedic Medical College in the private sector in a short time.

COURSE OFFERED:
The college offers Ayurvedacharya (BAMS–Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery).

ELIGIBILITY:
Successful completion of Plus Two course in Science subjects with 50% marks in Biology, Physics and Chemistry is required. Admission is based on the list published by the Govt. Entrance Commission for the Merit Quota and as per their existing rules for the management quota.
DURATION:
It offers degree course of 5.5 years duration (3 semesters of 18 months each and 12 months House Surgeons).

FACULTY:
Qualified and experienced faculty along with eminent guest faculty makes learning rewarding. Intense coaching by eminent scholars in Ayurveda is given to the students starting from the history of Ayurveda, Sanskrit language, Ayurvedic Philosophy, Anatomy, Philosophy, Study of Herbal drugs, metals and minerals, Preparation of Medicine, Treatment of various ailments, Surgery, Orthopaedics and Rejuvenation therapy are part of the course.
ACCOMMODATION:
Separate hostel facilities are provided to boys and girls within or very near to the campus with necessary infrastructure required for studentship. The hostel is supervised by inmate-wardens. Whenever students have to stay off-campus, transport facilities are arranged for pick-up and drop.
FOOD:
Students are provided with healthy food from the hostel mess. A full fledged canteen catering to the needs of students and staff members is functioning in the campus, serving meals and snacks. Apart from the canteen, a cafeteria and stationary store are also functioning in the campus during daytime for the benefit of the students.

OTHER FACILITIES:
The college has an extensive collection of herbs and medicinal plants. Efforts are on to expand the collection to 500 species.

Students are encouraged to take active participation in sports and games to develop a healthy body with sound mind. Well maintained football, cricket, volleyball and badminton courts are available to the students for this purpose.
KMCT believes in the potential development of the students through creativity. Cultural activities are often organized by students. Onam is celebrated with pomp and joy in KMCT in the traditional Kerala style.
HOSPITAL:
College is having a 100 bedded Hospital with various types of treatment specialties including Panchakarma, Kshara soothra, Management of Fractures and Dislocation. Plans are afoot to upgrade the bed strength of the hospital to 350 by constructing a new hospital building.
