Loknete Rajarambapu Patil Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital at Islampur – Sangli Road, Islampur in 2002. Islampur town is mere centre place to neighbouring towns i.e. 40 km to Kolhapur, 40 km to Sangli and 28 km to Karad which are having domestic Air ports. The town is growing day by day in all fields like agriculture, industrial and Education etc. and having a good look in the Sangli District Picture.

ABOUT THIS COLLEGE:
Loknete Rajarambapu Patil Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital has founded by Shri. Nishikant Prakashrao Patil alias Dada and recognized by the Govt. of Maharashtra, Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi, Dept. of Ayush, New Delhi and it has affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik (Maharashtra).
This college is having 14 full-fledged Departments as per the norms of CCIM, New Delhi. It is the only 'A' grade College in private sector affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nasik (MUHS). We equipped Departments, highly qualified and experienced staff, nicely managed herbal garden, and well settled Ayurvedic Pharmacy everything as per CCIM and MUHS norms. Specious class rooms with hi-tech methods of education adapted by this College 100% result of final B.A.M.S. are routine for this College. The institute not only on education but moral character of students, sports and cultural activities, tours and hence motivates every aspect.
COURSE OFFERED:
The courses offered by this college are; B.A.M.S. (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) or 'Ayurvedacharya' Degree, the intake capacity of this College is 50 for U.G. Course i.e. B.A.M.S. (Ayurvedacharya), and P.G. Courses - the post graduation courses in three subjects are Kayachikistsa (medicine), Streee, prasuthi thantra (Gynacology) and in Shalyathantra (Surgery).
ELIGIBILITY:
The students should qualify by 10 & +2 (Science) with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology for B.A.M.S. course.
DURATION:
B.A.M.S. Degree Course is of the duration of 51/2 years - First year B.A.M.S. - 18 months, Second year B.A.M.S. - 18 months, Third year B.A.M.S. - 18 months and internship - 12 months. Each year consists of 3 terms, each term with the duration of six months.
FACULTY:
The college has qualified and experienced teaching faculty and non teaching staff.

The College has well equipped departments of Sanskrit Samhita Sidhant, Rachana Sharir, Kriya Sharir, Dravaguna, Rasshastra and B.K., Rognidan, Swasthvritta, Agadtantra and Vidhi Ayurved, Prasutitantra and Striroga, Kaumar Bhritya, Kayachikitsa, Shalyatantra, Shalakyatantra and Panchakarma.
It has adequate Ayurved Laboratory facilities are provided for training of Undergraduate and also for undertaking research. College also provides extension OPD services to hereby villages. College has a teaching hospital with all Specialties of Ayurved treatment which provides routine and specialized diagnostic procedures including advanced Panchakarma treatments.
The college library contains more than 7000 books including modern medicine books, number of medical magazines and periodicals. It is very spacious, silent and it is having separate study halls for boys and girls and the teaching faculty also. The Library including - Reference services, Reprographic services, Multimedia facility and Book bank facility.
The college has Herbal Gardens - The herbal garden has developed according to Rashi, Dasha and Disha having more than 600 medicinal plants and 300 spices in Two acre land area and well play ground facility for out door and indoor games.
HOSPITAL:
Our Loknete Rajarambapu Patil Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital is having a teaching Hospital with 175 bed strength. The Hospital is located in a spacing sight having 8 OPDs with adequate trained staff and it fulfils the norms of CCIM, New Delhi. Our Hospital provides traditional Ayurvedic treatment facilities like Panchakarma, Kshar Sutra, Yoga etc. along with modern facilities including I.C.U., N.I.C.U., Sonography, Tread mill etc. X-ray, Pathology Lab. Our Hospital arrange the Medical check up camps in the particular adopted remote villages regularly, that the economical poor patients can take the medical aid. It has well equipped operation theatre.
