The Lotus AyurVeda Spa aims to bring this ancient wealth of knowledge to you, practiced in traditional form, through our authentic and accredited Doctors and Therapists.
At Lotus AyurVeda we will be introducing and practicing the principles of AyurVeda. We will provide authentic AyurVeda treatment and practices so that the individuals who use our services are encouraged to integrate AyurVeda into their daily life for their own benefit to bring peace and balance to one's mind and body.
Our aim is to provide a platform for individuals to understand the daily rigors of life and promote choices for self healing. We help our clients integrate AyurVeda with modern life, modern medicine, yoga, meditation, and other healing disciplines. We assist our clients to bring about harmony and awareness of their health, thus to promote sustainable wellbeing and to achieve a fulfilling and healthy life in the modern world.
TREATMENTS:
Lotus AyurVeda Spa provides the unique experience of the range of AyurVeda treatments that have been developed over 5000 years in India. The treatments are prescribed and supervised by our qualified AyurVeda Doctor and administered by our qualified therapists. Our doctor will advise on the need and the duration of the treatment program. The Spa has been specially designed and equipment imported from India to preserve the authenticity of the application of the treatment process.
During the free consultation our Doctor will advise of the ailment, treatment program and its duration. The following provides a list of treatments and therapies that are available at Lotus AyurVeda Spa; Pizhichil, Njavarakizhi, Sirodhara, Vasthi, Sirovasthi, Udvarthanam, Abhyangam, Sidhma Chikilsa, Nasyam, Snehapanam, Kizhi, Dhanyamla Dhara, Kativasthi, Urovasthi, Ksheeradhoomam, Thalam, Lepanam, Thalapothichil, Sandhi Vatha Chikilsa, Swasa Kasa Chikilsa and Sukhanidra.
DOCTORS:
Our trained and qualified AyurVedic doctor will offer consultation and counseling advice on health, wellbeing, lifestyles, diets and the appropriate use of AyurVedic therapies and herbal products. The doctor will prescribe requisite therapy for each client after consultation and diagnosis from the 37 forms of therapies that are available at the Lotus AyurVeda Spa.
Dr. Steephan is from the state of Kerala, in southern peninsula of India. A qualified AyurVedic Doctor and Yoga Teacher with a degree in AyurVedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) from the University of Calicut in Kerala.
The second doctor with the team is Dr. Majosh Jolly also from Kerala state in Southern India. His Mission statement is "to spread the ethics of AyurVeda and to explore myself and realize my full potential. His internship has given him experience in outpatient and inpatient consultation. He is fully conversant with all the modern and allopathic system of medicine. He is able to combine the modern systems with AyurVeda medicine to give the best advice to our clients. He also has extensive experience conducting Yoga and Meditation classes.
We are proud of our team of four with extensive experience in Panchakarma massage therapy and caring for people. With two male and two female experienced and qualified Panchakarma massage therapists from Kerala. The therapists are entrusted with the health and wellbeing of our clients. In conjunction with the physician, they will prepare oils and herbs needed for the prescribed therapy.
WORKING HOURS:
9.00am to 4.00pm six days a week (closed Sundays).
