Matha Ayurveda Eye Hospital is a super specialty ayurvedic eye hospital at Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram). The hospital was founded in 2003 by Dr P K Santhakumari M.D (Ay). The major target disease areas of the hospital are Diabetic Retinopathy, Macular Degeneration, Glaucoma, Retinitis Pigmentosa and Progressive Myopia. The hospital has developed a specialized ayurvedic eye treatment programme for childrens eye diseases, mainly myopia.
