Dr. U. Krishna Muniyal Memorial Trust (R) is known for its healing touch as it firmly believes on the fundamentals of Ayurveda and applies it for the betterment of mankind. Muniyal Ayurveda Hospital is a 150 bedded, super-speciality hospital located at Manipal, consisting of multiple facilities to provide lifestyle management in an Ayurvedic way under one roof.
It is full-fledged "Panchakarma" Therapy Rooms, Yoga and Meditation hall, Pyramid Thepaty, Labour Theatre, and Facilities for traditional therapies.
FOUNDER OF THIS TRUST:
Dr. M. Vijayabhanu Shetty, founded the Dr. U. Krishna Muniyal Memorial Trust (R) in the name of his father, Late Dr. U. Krishna, a freedom fighter who had practiced Ayurveda in Muniyal for forty years. Dr. M. Vijayabhanu Shetty, Managing Trustee, and the brain behind the Trust, started his career, with degrees in Ayurveda (BSAM & BAMS from Bangalore University), as a medical practitioner. Dr. Shetty started manufacturing and marketing ayurvedic medicines in 1985. His research products for diabetes, alcoholism, arthritis, cardiac problems, bronchitis, uterine & liver disorders, amoebiasis & obesity have proved to be very effective. He has presented papers on his products in many a seminars and conferences. Many articles have been published about his products and his organisation in leading newspapers and magazines of the country.
TREATMENTS:
We offer the treatment packages are: Deerghayu Kalpa, Madhumeha Kalpa, Medohara Kalpa, Madatyaya Kalpa, Tvak Shuddhi Kalpa, Prajna Kalpa, Marma Chikitsa Kalpa, Koshtha Shuddhi Kalpa, Mutra Shuddhi, Kalpa, Hrdroga Kalpa, Shvasahara Kalpa, Urdhvanga Kalpa, Sunayana Kalpa, Kumara Kalpa, Soundarya Kalpa, and Mahoushadha Kalpa.
Our special treatment facilities are: The hospital section is well equipped with special treatment techniques of Ayurveda like Panchakarma. Shastikashali Pinda Sweda (Navarakizhi), Kayasekam (Pizhicchil), Shirodhara, Patra Pinda Sweda, Nadi Sweda, Bashpa Sweda, Kati Basti, Nasya, Basti, Vamana, Virechana.
FOOD:
Patients are served with vegetarian diet, exclusively prepared from natural sources, collected from the Hospital's own organic and dairy farm.
