ABOUT THIS CENTRE:
Nalanda Ayurvedic Centre offers many of the tools and treatments of Ayurveda which can re-balance us: daily routines, seasonal routines, dietary regime, regulation of lifestyle, yoga, natural oral medication, rejuvenation and aphrodisiacs, detoxification through panchakarma and curative action, external medicine such as massage, use of pastes and powders and surgical treatment.
We provide individualised diet and lifestyle counselling as a healing modality on its own or in conjuction with an Ayurveda Wellness Massage or a Retreat. It is replacing stress with silence, meditation, contemplation and relaxation. Contact with nature and calm, restful environment. Enjoy your tranquil garden where you can walk comfortably and relax.
TREATMENTS:
The treatments offered by this centre are; Shirodhara (warm oil flowing on the forehead), Pichauli (massage with lots of warm oil), Abhyanga (full body oil massage), Abhyanga (different parts of the body), Padabhyanga with bowl (ayurvedic foot massage), nasya, siro vasti, kati vasti, uro vasti, karna puranam, ksheera dhumam, Ayurveda wellness retreat.
 
FOOD:
Delicious, strictly vegetarian, meals are freshly, lovingly and exclusively prepared for you, considering your eventual imbalances according to ayurvedic principles. We will use organic and local ingredients as much as possible. The meals will not only taste delicious but make you feel good too. You can expect a detoxifying effect without feeling any deprivation. For maximum benefit, meals will be very simple on certain days of your Home Pancha Karma Detox Retreat. Herbal teas and hot water therapy as well as healthy mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks are provided.

Accommodation depending on availability may be at “via’s stay” next door to the new Nalanda Treatment Centre. . Enjoy your calm garden where you can walk comfortably and relax.

Retreats - Half-day - R720 per person, Full-day - R1 440. Pricing, including meals, excluding accommodation: R7 200 on 90 days advanced confirmed booking, R8 100 on 60 days advanced confirmed booking and R9 030 standard price. Meals Ayurveda Retreats R390 per person per day. We charge R450 for full Ayurvedic Medical Consultation.
