NW Ayurveda offers Consultations on diet and lifestyle, two person Ayurvedic Massage, Shirodhara, Herbalized Steam, Panchakarma and Therapeutic Massage. Ayurveda, "The science of life, " has its roots in India and dates over 5,000 years. This ancient art of healing can bring forth positive transformation in one's life.
Abhyanga is a warm oil massage with two or one practitioners. The two practitioners work in a synchronized dance to unwind your nervous system. This promotes the mind to calm while the body eliminates the toxins.
Swedana is a herbalized steam box treatment to allow the body to sweat out built up toxins and move remaining toxins towards the GI tract for proper elimination.
Shirodhara involves pouring warm oil onto the center of the forehead and includes a neck, head, hands, & feet massage. Shirodhara calms and soothes the nervous system, reduces fears, anxieties, and helps insomnia.
Chakra Balancing utilizes special oils for each chakra, bija sounds and affirmations to activate the chakras.
Heart Basti is a dough that is made and applied to the heart with warm herbal oils added to bring balance to the heart and lungs. We incorporate affirmations, bija sounds, and foot massage.
Netra Basti is a dough that is sealed around the eye made into a dam. Inside the dam we apply warm ghee. This treatment is a cleanse to release the toxins in our facial tissue and nervous system. Also, it helps with sty's, twitching, dry or water eyes, and bells palsy.
Therapeutic Massage is tailored to meet individual needs. Deep Tissue, Neuro-Muscular Therapy, Therapeutic Stretching & Polarity is used to unwind muscle tension.
ABOUT THE DOCTOR:
Nickole Thornton Gonzales is the founder of NW Ayurveda in Seattle, Washington. NW Ayurveda offers Ayurvedic Consultations, Panchakarma, Day of Rejuvenation packages, and classes on Ayurveda. Nickole is an Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner, Nationally Certified Massage Therapist, and Yoga Instructor. She travels to various Yoga and Ayurvedic centers across the United States providing Lectures, Consultations, and Panchakarma. She currently teaches a Certified Ayurvedic Educators Program at Kanyakumari in Milwakee, Wisconsion.
Nickole graduated under the teachings of Dr.Vasant Lad at The Ayurvedic Institute where she was employed in the Panchakarma department. In 2008, Nickole continued her Ayurvedic journey to India and studied Advanced Ayurvedic Assessments with Dr. Lad's Guru Kula Program.
Nickole enjoys sharing her love of Ayurveda in way that is applicable to everyday life. She looks forward to assisting you in your health and wellness!

When you come for Panchakarma at NW Ayurveda you are supported with love and compassion along your Ayurvedic healing journey of health and wellness. Clients generally stay at a bed and breakfast off of the Puget Sound located ten minutes away by car. The public bus also drops you off a block away from our center. Other clients have used Vacation Rental.com an rental a home down at Alki beach.
Each day you receive three and half hours of treatments for $430.00 a day with meals included. Five days of Panchakarma $2150.00
Description of the Location:
When you walk into NW Ayurveda you can feel the healing vibrations and smell the aroma of essential oils. You walk pass our alter an know you stepped into a piece of India. NW Ayurveda in located in West Seattle on California Ave. California Ave. runs right down to Alki beach. You can walk in either direction about 6 blocks and end up at our local CO-OP, PCC or walk into unique gift shops, cafes, or hop on a bus to Lincoln Park and go for a hike or a stroll along the Puget Sound.
Any other noise/pollution?:
Our center is located on the second floor of a flat. You can see the trees outside our windows and we are located ten blocks from the Puget Sound.
How is the Vaastu of the land and building?
We have set our intention to correct the vastu of the building by placing the appropriate items to correspond with the four directions.
