Rajah Healthy Acres is located at Koottanad in Palghat district, Kerala which is in the Southern tip of India.
ABOUT THIS HOSPITAL:
At Rajah Ayurvedic Hospitals acquaint yourself with the flora and fauna, see the nature in all her glory, interact with people who are very different from you and thus cleanse your ego, intellect, mind, senses and matter. We only guide you according to Ayurvedic principles. We have conceived Rajah Ayurvedic Hospitals as a small step towards achieving this goal.
TREATMENTS:
At Rajah Healthy Acres a day for a guest undergoing treatment usually starts with medication in the morning at about 6 AM.
The morning treatment is done between 8.30 AM - 11 AM. The treatments are done in the treatment room attached to the cottage or at the various treatment areas depending on the type of treatment. Treatments are done under the supervision of a doctor.
The treatments offered by us are; Uzhichil, Pizhichil, Elakizhi, Navarakizhi, Sirodhara, Thalapothichil and Snehapanam.
DOCTORS:
Resident doctors and cordial and friendly staff makes the guest feels at home and comfortable. Ayurvedic treatments respond well when the patient is relaxed and happy. Giving primary importance to this fact.
ACCOMMODATION:
The various cottages for stay were constructed with focus on providing a quiet and peaceful atmosphere for the guests. Thick greenery surrounds the cottages giving excellent views from each cottage.
We provide luxurious three-bedroom Kashmiri houseboat built with the scented Devdar wood and a two-bedroom Kerala houseboat, A/c bedroom with attached bath room, Common sit out and Common dining room, A/c bedroom with attached bath room, Private sit out at the rear, dining and and a common front sit out and Bedrooms with attached bathroom sit out and varanda.
FOOD:
We provide food of your choice from a restaurant with multi-cuisine. Of course all cottages are provided with kitchenettes for cooking your own food.

The charges are; Rajah House Boat – $106 - 1 day / $395 – 3 days / $912 – 7 days / $1806 – 14 days / $2682 – 21 days / $3583 – 28 days and Kashmiri House Boat – $176 – 1 day / $607 – 3 days / $1402 – 7 days / $2776 – 14 days / $4122 – 21 days / $5439 – 28 days.
OTHER FACILITIES:
The other facilities are; Rajah Healthy Acres has its own medicine manufacture unit with GMP certification. Several medicines are including herbal powders and pastes. Medicines are made in-house for the use of the guests. Although the land is naturally filled with medicinal herbs, the center has started a herbal garden with more than 400 varieties of plants. Pineapples, coconuts, mangoes, Jackfruits, cashews, arecanuts, pepper, guva fruit, amla, papaya and paddy are grown in the premises of the center. Honeybees are kept to obtain 100% pure honey.
A bit of Indian culture depicted in the form of traditional arts like Ottamthullal, Bharathanatyam and Kuchipudi will be arranged for you in the Mandapam at your request.
