LOCATION:
Rajiv Lochan Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital at Chandkhuri, Chhattisgarh was established in the year 2002-2003. It is Located in aesthetically and functionally designed building, college is spread across an area of 6 acres of land.
ABOUT THIS COLLEGE:
The college accommodates well-equipped laboratories, dissection hall, demonstration hall, herbal garden and a library with a reading hall facility. The college is recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), New Delhi. The college is one of the well-known colleges in the State of Chhattisgarh providing all the necessary infrastructural facilities as specified by the CCIM and profound knowledge of ayurveda with modern advances. The intake is 40 candidates.
OUR GOAL:
Our aim is to facilitate higher Ayurvedic treatment in Chattisgarh, to produce make trained Ayurvedic doctor's who can help in the progress of Ayurvedic treatment. Proper use of forest resources in making herbal medicines takes our state to the top free Ayurvedic treatment to nearest villages, to develop yog, panchakarma, nature therapy for interior people(Adivasi) so that they can get cheap and easy treatment.
COURSE OFFERED:
B.A.M.S.: (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery)Ayurvedacharya Degree).
ELIGIBILITY:
The students should qualify by 10 & +2 (Science) with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
DURATION:
The B.A.M.S. Degree course is of duration of 51/2 years - first professional course: 18 months, second professional course: 18 months, third professional course: 18 months and internship: 12 months.
FACULTY:
The faculty of the college consists of carefully selected senior teachers with strong research orientation.
ACCOMMODATION:
The College has separate hostel for girls and boys. Boys Hostel is built over the 3,000 sq. ft. and having capacity of 25 students and girls Hostel is built over an area of 6,000 sq. ft. and having capacity of 50 girls.

FOOD:
The total constructed area of canteen is 1,500 sq. ft. with specious dining hall, mess facility is provided to the students.
OTHER FACILITIES:
The college library is very spacious hall having thousands of volumes on Ayurvedic and allied medicines. And it has 300 plants of different varieties are planted in 1.5 acre land of herbal garden and is situated just behind the college building.
The pharmacy constructed on 1,500 sq. ft. area various ayurvedic medicines are prepared. Pharmacy is having specious area for Drying, Grinding. Furnace, Store room and other machineries.
HOSPTIAL:
The college has its own Ayurvedic Hospital with 100 bed strength wherein students are given clinical training. A number of patients are treated in our OPD and IPD and so our students get good clinical exposure in the hospital. In the hospital separate sections are provided for the panchkarma setup, where separate rooms are furnished for the snehan, swedan, vaman and basti karma.
