Santhigiri Ashram, is a spiritual and registered charitable institution with head quarters at Trivandrum, Kerala, India , blessed and guided by Navajyothishree Karunakara Guru, with lakhs followers throughout India and abroad.
ABOUT THIS ASHRAM:
The spiritual renaissance is the basic theme of the Ashram. The important aspect in the teachings of the Gurus is to combine all human beings into one society throughout the world, without the parochial considerations of caste, creed, religion or nationality. Santhigiri also tied up with various modern hospitals, hotels, resorts, different state governments to promote health tourism to India.
TREATMENTS:
The treatments offered by this ashram are; Abhyangam & Swedanam (Rejuvenation Therapy), Sirodhara, Nasayam, Pizhichil, Navarakizhi, Elakizhi, Podikizhi, Thakradhara, Sirovasthi, Poochu, Thalam, Vamanam, Virechanam, Vasthy and Udhwarthanam.
ACCOMMODATION & FOOD:
Free food, accommodation is given to almost 3000 people every day at the Ashram. The devotees are engaged in number of socio economic activities.
EDUCATION:
Santhigiri runs two medical colleges; Bachelor Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) - 5 ½ years course including House Surgency is conducted at Santhigiri Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital, Palakkad, Kerala India.
Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery (BSMS) - 5 ½ years course including House surgency is conducted at Santhigiri Siddha Medical College & Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala India.
PRODUCTS:
The medicines and herbal cosmetics like facial cream, hair oil, massage oil, pain balm. All types of curry powder (condiments) are manufactured at Santhigiri. It also manufactured herbal, toilet soap, coconut oil and coir products (various types).
