ABOUT THIS COLLEGE:
Santhigiri Siddha Medical College has been established in the year 2002 by Santhigiri Ashram imbibing the vision of its Founder Guru, Navajyothisree Karunakara Guru. This college is the first ever English medium Siddha Medical College in the country and the first siddha college in the state of Kerala. It is recognized by Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), and affiliated by University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram.
COURSE OFFERED:
The course offered by this college is Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery (BSMS).
ELIGIBILITY:
Candidates belonging to all categories for admission to the Siddha Course must have passed Higher Secondary Examination (10+2 Course) or its equivalent of the Board of Higher Secondary Education of the State or Examinations recognized equivalent there to with 50% marks in Biology separately and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together.
DURATION:
The duration of the course is 4'/2 years duration and 1 year compulsory internship - First Professional - 18 Months, Second Professional - 18 Months, Final – Professional - 18 Month, C.R.R.I. - 12 Months.

The course admission fee – Rs.1000.00, Tuition fee – Rs.90,000.00, University special fee including cost of application form – Rs.465.00, University recognition fee including cost of application form – Rs.110.00, University matriculation fee – Rs.210.00, Caution deposit – Rs.50.00, Magazine – Rs.10,000.00, P.T.A Fund – Rs.500.00 – Total amount for the course is Rs.1,02,535.00.
For Hostel Inmates – Rs.6000, Hostel rent advance – Rs.6000, Hostel caution deposit – Rs.12000. Mess charges - On the basis of prepaid coupons for Rs.400/- per book of coupons worth Rs.500/.
