We are located in the green locality with good transportation facility. Our nursing home is a blend of traditional and modern architecture. Ours is a traditional building with modern facilities of accommodation in it. Sree Subramania Ayurvedic Nursing Home (Green Leaf Certified Ayurveda Centre ), a member of the Tekkayil Ayurvedic Group and the apex out-patient & in-patient consultations and treatments center of our modern ayurvedic movement for natural healing, by attaining the harmony of the higher self (atmav), mind (manas), the vital energy of the universe (prana), the senses and the body.
Thekkayil family is one of the oldest families of the Malabar region pursuing the ayurvedic tradition of more than 500 years. The Thekkayil family has produced many brilliant ayurvedic physicians and leaving an ever-lasting footmark in the field of ayurveda.
Sree Subramania Ayurvedic Nursing Home was founded by Late Sri.Thekkayil Achuthan Vaidyar, a great ayurvedic physician of all time and Late Sri. Kaviraj. T. P vaidyar, a well-known ayurvedic physician and a remarkable scholar from the Thekkayil family, who was a ‘Kaviraj’ from Bengal and had the reputation of being an excellent Sanskrit and Vedic scholar.
We are 40 year old nursing home. Our patrons are the hereditary vaidyas with a lineage for the past 400 years. Our Chief Physician Mr. Rajarathnam Vaidyar has the rare distinction of receiving the Bishak Rathna award from the Calicut Corporation. It is distinguished award for citizen of the corporation.
We have in-patient and out -patient facilities. The medicines we provide to all our patients are exclusively made in the hospital vicinity. We provide the panchakarma treatment for rejuvenation. But our prescription is based only after direct consultation. We deal with treatment for obesity. The rheumatic ailments (paralysis), spine related treatment and leach craft are our high points besides other treatments.

The treatments offered by this nursing home are; Basti karma, Virchana karma, Vamana karma, Nasya karma, Rakta moksha karma, Pizzichil, Netra tarpana, Shirodharra, Localized bastis and other treatments: Udvarthana , Abhyangam, Thalam, Kizhi, Dhara - (Thakra Dhara & Ksheera Dhara), Sirovasthi, Snehapanam, Yoni prakshalanam, Kativasthi, Urovsthi, Ksheera dhoomam, Thalam, Lepanam, Karnapoornam, Tharpanam, Mukhalepam and Medication. The specialty of hospital: rheumatic ailments, spine related ailments, leach craft, besides other treatments.
DOCTORS:
Dr. Sanand Ratnam Thekkayil's family shares an Ayurvedic tradition in Kerala which spans back 500 years. Dr. Thekkayil graduated from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (AyurvedaCharya). He also obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital Management and is a member of the prestigious British Society for Rheumatology.
ACCOMMODATION:
Our nursing home is a blend of traditional and modern architecture. Our nursing home is a traditional building with modern accommodation facilities. We have well furnished rooms as well as general rooms for accommodation. Also there are medium type of rooms. Our Ayurvedic treatment and massage centre is handled by qualified and experienced doctors and personnel which is an added attraction of the nursing home.
FOOD:
We offer only organic food from outside market. But we do not serve white sugar, nightshades and chilli.
PRICE RANKING:
Our room rent is as follows; per day rent – Rs.2000.00 (AC accommodation with TV and net connection.) per day rent – Rs.550.00 (accommodation with TV ) per day rent – Rs.350.00 (special rooms with ordinary facility) per day rent – Rs.400.00 (Double bedded room) per day rent – Rs.250.00 (Ordinary rooms) Even general ward facility for our needy patients. For every extra bed Rs.150.00 will be charged per day.
The treatment is prescribed and charged against consultation only. But for rejuvenation we offer packages for treatment. The room rent is additional based on the choice of the room. The food is also left to patient choice as patients of other regions feel difficulty in adjusting to the smell of coconut oil. The Rejuvenation treatment charges per day is Rs.2142/= + room rent and food. We will provide on demand facilities like sightseeing with additional charges based on the requirement. We will give rates in detail and confidentiality if any patient consults for any special illness he/she faces.
POLLUTION:
There is no air and noise pollution in the surrounding area.
