The AVP Training Academy is located at Pathanjalipuri 20 km away from Coimbatore City. On the foot hills of Western Ghats in a most beautiful, natural surrounding, abundant with medicinal plants all around and a serene unpolluted, picturesque environment with the sweet melodious sounds of peacocks, cuckoos and the exhilarating view of the water fall.
ABOUT THIS INSTITUTE:
Ayurveda Education - The Ayurveda College was established in the year, 1978 and united to Dr. M.G. R. Medical University, Chennai, India is dedicated to impart Ayurveda Education to students and conduct Ayurveda Research activities. The Ayurveda College is recognized by Central Council of Indian Medicine (C.C.I.M.) New Delhi. It is supported by Arya Vadiyan Rama Varier Educational Foundation of Ayurveda, Coimbatore and Run in Joint Association with R.V.S. Educational Trust, Sulur. Ayurveda College is functioning with 14 departments, with well equipped lab, dissection hall and library.
FACULTY:
Dr.P.T.Chacko M.D (Ay.), the Director of the Academy, joined as the teaching faculty of Ayurveda College, Coimbatore he then took over charge as the General Manager (R&D) of AVP. He has wide experience in teaching and Research and has also proven himself as an efficient clinician. He was heading the team, who conducted a research study on the effect of Kutipraveshika Rasayana treatment at Chennai.
COURSE OFFERED:
We offer 3 months Diploma in Panchakarma for doctors (after B.A.M.S) – theory and practical classes. 3 months Certificate course in Ayurveda and yoga for foreign doctors (eligibility any recognized medical degree). 1 year - Certificate course in Ayurveda and yoga for foreign students (eligibility any degree with science back ground). 6 months - Ayurveda therapy training course (eligibility plus 2 pass).
FEES PARTICULARS:
The fees details for the courses are; Rs.30000 for 3 months Diploma in Panchakarma for doctors, USD2500 for 3 months certificate course in Ayurveda and Yoga for foreign doctors. USD5000 for 1 year certificate course in Ayurveda and Yoga for foreign students and Rs.30000 for 6 months Ayurveda Therapy training course.
ACCOMMODATION FACILITIES:
We have separate hostel for boys and girls.
FOOD:
Pure Indian vegetarian food will be arranged.
