LOCATION:
The Institute is situated 3500 feet above the sea level at Dehradun which is the Capital of Uttarakhand state. Dehradun is situated at the foothills of Mussoorie (The Queen of Hills). Dehradun was also known as “DRONA NAGRI” because Acharya Drona lived here and did divine worship for many years. Sikh Guru Ram Rai also lived and established here his “Dera”. Previously it was known as “DEHRADRON” and now it is known as “DEHRADUN”.
Dehradun is a valley. It is covered by ‘HIMALAYAS’ in the North and surrounded by SHIVALIK HILLS in the South. Holy River ‘GANGA’ is on its East and ‘YAMUNA’ is on its West. Most of the herbs, shrubs and trees are found growing naturally here. The scenario of forests and vegetation is itself health and education promoting. It is a beautiful city with pleasant and pollution free climate.
Dehradun is also famous for housing many of the most important Head Offices and Institutes of India like FRI (Forest Research Institute), ONGC (Oil and Natural Gas Corporation), Wild Life Institute, Survey of India, IMA (Indian Military Academy), Wadia Institute, IIP (Indian Institute of Petroleum), Doon School and Lal Bahadur Shastri Academy of Administration. The city is a most famous Education and Tourism Centre of Northern India. At present Dehradun is the fastest growing city. One can reach Dehradun very easily by Air, Road or Train from all parts of India.

The Institute is recognized by Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Dehli, affiliated to H.N.B. Garhwal University, Srinagar, Uttarakhand and approved by Uttarakhand Government. The Management is determined to develop this Institute into a model of excellent Academic Centre for Ayurveda & Yoga Learning and Research, which would cater not only to the people of Uttarakhand but the whole World. COURSE OFFERED:
It offers BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery). This degree course is recognized by C.C.I.M. New Delhi duly approved by Uttarakhand Govt. and affiliated to H.N.B. Garhwal University, Srinagar Uttarakhand. The course gives full study of Ayurveda and knowledge of modern medical Science. This degree is internationally recognized.
As well it offers Ayurved Pharmacist (Bhaisajya Kalpak). This Diploma course is approved by Uttarakhand Govt. & Recognised by Indian Medicine Board, Uttarakhand. The training of this course is being introduced with a view to produce competent Pharmacists / Compounders of a uniform standard for Ayurvedic Pharmacies / institutions / Hospitals. The trained candidates shall be able to work efficiently as Compounders / Pharmacists and discharge other duties in the hospitals, dispensaries or pharmacies and can earn substantially.
And also offers Post Graduate Diploma in Yogic Science. This course is affiliated to H.N.B. Garhwal University, Srinagar, Uttarakhand. The aim of this course is to promote physical and mental health, prevention of stress and rehabilitation through Yoga. Integral approach to Yoga therapy imparts skills in students which help them in personality development and invoke scientific attitude for enhancing efficiency in day to day life. Yoga contributes substantially in preventing and curing several ailments. The P.G. Diploma Holder can become a good Yoga teacher or establish yoga centre anywhere in the world and can earn while serving the mankind.
And the final one is Short Term Courses in Ayurveda/Panchkarma/Yoga. Short duration courses are tailor made to share knowledge of Ayurveda/Panchkarma/Yoga. The Courses can be of 15 days to 3 months to suit every type of eager candidates specially foreigners. For more information visit our campus.
DURATION:
The courses duration are as follows; four and half years + one year Internship for BAMS course, Two year for Ayurved Pharmacist (Bhaisajya Kalpak), One year for Post Graduate Diploma in Yogic Science course.
ELIGIBILITY:
The candidates should qualify by the intermediate Science (10+2) PCB group and age limit is minimum 17 years for BAMS, 10+2 Science (P.C.B. group) and age limit is minimum17 years on 1st July for Ayurved Pharmacist (Bhaisajya Kalpak), and graduation in any stream with minimum 40% marks and age limit is maximum 35 years on 1st July for Post Graduate Diploma in Yogic Science.

The fees structure is as prescribed by Indian Medicine Board, Uttarakhand.

The college has 34 number of teaching staff members with requisite qualification and experience as per C.C.I.M. norms.
