Arsha Yoga Vidya Peetam Trust is located in the premises of The Ayurvedic Trust Hospital/Dhanwanthari Temple. It has easy access to Rail, Road and Air - just 3 Kms from the Railway station, 5 Kms from Outstation Bus Terminal and 10 Kms from Air Port. Coimbatore city is situated near the Western Ghats Mountains in Tamil Nadu state -sharing the border with Kerala and is blessed with pleasant climatic conditions.
ABOUT THIS INSTITUTE:
Arsha Yoga Vidya Peetam Trust is a Training School that imparts Authentic Education in Ayurveda, Yoga and other allied Traditional Systems of India. It has been conducting short- term and long- term courses for international as well as Indian students on Ayurveda & Yoga.
Main subjects covered in the Ayurveda courses are - Ayurvedic Treatment Techniques, Abhyanga (Massage Therapy), other Kerala Special Therapies, medicines, herbs, home remedies, other natural products, and clinical management of common selected diseases, preventive health care, diet and regimen.
Main subjects covered in the Yoga courses are - Meditation, Relaxation, Asana, Pranayama, Yoga therapy. Arsha Yoga Vidya Peetam Trust is a sister institution of The Arya Vaidya Pharmacy (CBE) Ltd, a renowned name in the field of authentic Ayurveda since 1943.
Arsha Yoga Vidya Peetam Trust has been engaged in imparting Ayurveda and Yoga education on the back ground of Indian knowledge systems both for Indian and foreign nationals since 1990. Special courses are being offered to foreign students to cater to their needs. All courses focus on the theoretical and practical aspects of the systems, for the students after the course would be able to use their knowledge practically for themselves and humanity at large.
Since we do not want to compromise in terms of quality education, we take minimum number of students each time in order to give individual attention. Thousands of students across the world have been trained by us so far.
FOUNDER:
Sri P. R. Krishnakumar - The Managing Director of the AVP group, and he is the Founder of Arsha Yoga Vidya Peetam Trust. Having widely travelled in India and abroad and possessing a broad vision, he has dedicated his life to the promotion of Indian science, art and culture and in particular Ayurveda. He is on the Advisory Board of several government and non-government organizations involved in the propagation of Ayurveda. He was instrumental in bringing Ayurveda to the attention of the World Health Organization (WHO).
He leads a zealous quest for excellence both in service and in products. He is an eminent national as well as international authority in the field of traditional medicine. His leadership has ushered AVP Group into a new era of dimensions.
Sri.V. Vasudevan - Our Director - He has worked over 15 years as a teacher at Ayurveda College Coimbatore. Being the Director of Arsha Yoga Vidya Peetam Trust, he has been engaged in National and International training programs on Ayurveda and Yoga and several students had the opportunity to learn with him over the last two decades. He occasionally travels abroad for conducting camps and seminars on Ayurveda, Yoga and Indian philosophy.

The duration for the courses - Panchakarma Training in Ayurveda 1 month, Ayurvedic Paramedical Course (Panchakarma) 6 Weeks, Introductory Course in Ayurveda and Yoga 3 months, Advanced course in Ayurveda and Yoga 6 months, Intensive course in Ayurveda and Yoga classics 1 year.
